We offer an array of advanced laser treatments performed by our highly trained medical personnel. Lasers are used for hair removal, treatment of acne, sun damage, wrinkles, veins and more. Results are immediate and depending on your goals, recovery can be minimal.
Fun fact: the term “laser” stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.
In non-jargon terms, a laser is a single-wavelength (single-colored) source of high-energy light and heat, which can be focused to selectively interact, in very useful ways, upon various tissues within the skin and body.
FemiLift is an advanced solution for women who experience the following symptoms:
FemiLift targets the above symptoms by using gold standard laser technology to gently but effectively heat the vaginal tissues and walls. This heat promotes a sudden and invigorated burst of collagen production, which helps create firmer, more elastic vaginal walls. As a result, FemiLift helps increase vaginal elasticity, as well as provides women with the feeling of having a tighter, firmer vagina.Learn More
A revolutionary technology, known as selective photothermolysis, is a treatment that can be tailored to treat age spots, hyper-pigmentation, facial spider veins, rosacea, acne and more. As technology is constantly improving, we now have an option that provides a comfortable yet effective solution.
BBL™ - Photo Rejuvenation is a cosmetic treatment designed to treat the visible signs of sun damage, brown spots, rosacea, broken capillaries and age spots. Over time, our skin begins to show the signs of aging. By using this Broad Band Light technology, Photo Rejuvenation can help to create younger looking skin. A pulsating broad beam of highly concentrated light is directed to the specific area being treated. This light selectively targets the desired area and will not cause damage to the surrounding skin. Photo Rejuvenation is the only procedure that can treat vascular redness, the appearance of rosacea, brown spots, and sun damage.
Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed. You will have to wear protective eye wear. The technician will apply a cool gel to the area being treated. During the treatment you may notice a warming sensation or a slight snapping feeling. After a treatment, the area may be pink or red; this will fade. You may resume normal activities immediately. How many treatment sessions are needed? Many patients notice a difference after a single treatment. To reap the full benefits of Photo Rejuvenation, three to four treatments may be needed. You can discuss with your technician how many treatments will be needed.
Photo Rejuvenation is a safe and effective treatment option. Any side effects are mild and temporary. These may include redness, bruising, or temporary darkening of brown spots.
Now you can have younger looking, healthier feeling skin with a popular new treatment-the MicroLaserPeel®. This peel treats skin conditions associated with aging and an active lifestyle. You can see real improvements in just a few days. It is an intra-epidermal laser peel that precisely ablates the outermost layers of the skin. You will experience smoother, healthier, more vibrant skin, with significant, immediate changes in skin texture and tightness.
The MicroLaserPeel® procedure was designed for those wanting more than microdermabrasion or light chemical peels, and have little time for a prolonged healing process.
The MicroLaserPeel® removes a thin layer of damaged skin to improve texture and provide a more youthful appearance. It provides superior results because it can be administered with great precision of depth.
MicroLaserPeel®'s beam is scanned over a treatment area to remove a very thin layer of skin. Removing the top layer eliminates some of the damaged cells that can give skin a tired, aged look. As the skin heals, fresh cells grow and resurface the treated area. The result is healthier-looking skin, often with reduced wrinkles and improved color tone. Patients often remark that it looks like their skin changed from looking tired to looking vibrant.
Excellent results can be obtained in just one treatment, however the number of treatments needed may vary from patient to patient. Dr. Apgar will customize your plan based on your needs and may choose to combine this procedure with others to further personalize and maximize your results.
One of the primary advantages is that it causes little pain as it does not penetrate very deeply. At its most shallow setting, most people can tolerate treatment with no anesthetic at all. At deeper settings, a topical numbing cream can be used as well as the Zimmer chiller, which blows freezing cold air on the skin during the procedure, providing excellent numbing.
Immediately after the treatment you will notice your skin is red or pink. The dehydrated skin will peel away within the next few days following treatment. You may experience some skin redness and a sensation resembling a mild sunburn, as well as mild swelling. Most patients notice an obvious improvement in tone, texture and color evenness once the skin heals in approximately three to five days. Depending on the depth of treatment, most patients feel comfortable enough to return to work within three to five days also.
You may be given skin care products and instructions on how to use them. Your skin will be sensitive to ultra-violet light after the procedure, so you must avoid direct sun exposure until fully healed. We don't need to tell you, but as a reminder, always use sunscreen to protect against those harmful UV rays.

Laser skin tightening and cellulite reduction is a minimally invasive, non-surgical process that uses radio frequency to tighten skin by heating the collagen under the skin's surface, causing the skin to contract (tighten). Facial skin tightening is noticeable immediately after the treatment, and there is no downtime, making this an increasingly popular procedure.
Reaction™ offers multiple treatment applications for the industry's most-wanted aesthetic treatments:

What is laser hair removal and how does it work?
Every day we are faced with the hassle of removing unwanted hair. Well, now you can say goodbye to razors, chemicals, and waxing forever with laser hair removal. This process uses lasers to produce a beam of light that is absorbed into the skin so that that it can destroy the targeted hair follicle with the heat that it creates.
This fast and easy process quickly removes unwanted hair and is less painful than some other hair removal methods. Because you want to target the hair itself without damaging the surrounding skin, different types of lasers are used, depending upon the thickness of hair and the color of skin.
Our hair grows in cycles, and can only be removed during the growth phase; so while you may have a full session, covering all target areas, you will still require a minimum of six treatment sessions in order to fully remove the unwanted hair.
What areas on the body can be treated with laser hair removal and who is an ideal candidate for laser hair removal?
Anyone who wants to be rid of the annoyance of shaving or waxing to remove unwanted hair is a candidate for laser hair removal. Legs, armpits, upper lip, chin, and the bikini line are the most common treatment areas on the body, however, other areas can be treated. Just ask your doctor and enjoy the benefits of smooth skin free of razor burn and stubble. People of all skin tones and hair colors have found success with laser hair removal, however the ideal candidates for laser hair removal have lighter skin tones and dark hair (brown or black). The pigment contrast creates a better target for the light beam emitted by the laser.
Are there any risks or side effects to laser hair removal?
Laser hair removal is a safe procedure with complications occurring rarely. In a very few cases bleeding during laser treatment is possible. Although extremely unlikely, infection resulting from laser treatment is also possible. Side effects are rare but may include temporary darkening of the skin, or hyper-pigmentation (in rare cases found to be long lasting or permanent). Lightening of the skin (hypo-pigmentation) can also occur- this is concern for patients with darker skin. Blistering, scarring, changes in skin texture, scabbing, or crusting are possible, although very rare. As new hair grows in, it may be finer and lighter in color, and in some cases the new growth is in areas adjacent to the treated areas. This is easily treated with additional laser treatment sessions.
Lasers can be used to treat spider and varicose veins. We are also able to successfully treat cherry hemangioma, vascular birth marks, and red colored scars. Unwanted and unattractive blood vessels called spider veins appear mostly on the legs, occasionally on the face, or elsewhere. Spider veins can be short, unconnected lines, each about the size of a large hair. They may be connected in a scraggly, ‘sunburst’ pattern, or they may even look like a spider-web or a tree with branches. Sometimes they occur on a small area and aren't very noticeable, or they can cover a large area of skin.
Laser spider vein removal is a non-invasive and virtually pain free procedure designed to remove veins using a highly concentrated beam of light. Laser spider vein removal applies an intense energy that essentially destroys the small blood vessels in the surface of the skin, without harming the surrounding tissue. The body then absorbs the coagulated vessel.
Results are seen mostly within three to four weeks after the treatment. That is how long it takes the body to absorb the coagulated vessel.
The Sciton ProFractional™ Laser is a state of the art skin resurfacing system that is unique in that it can be used to treat specific areas of your skin without affecting surrounding tissue. This advanced technology allows your skin to heal in a fraction of the time because you are not treating the entire skin surface all at once but only the specific problem area.
ProFractional™ laser treatments can be used to treat age and sun spots, reduce the appearance of uneven skin pigmentation, lessen the severity of wrinkles, improve stretch marks, and treat acne scarring with minimal to no downtime.
The ProFractional™ Laser treatment works by targeting specific parts of damaged tissue. The laser produces microscopic "wounds" that causes your body to begin the natural healing process. In turn, this fosters the production of collagen and new, healthy skin. The important part of this treatment process is the design of the system that allows for targeting very specific areas and preserving the surrounding skin tissue. This lessens discomfort and healing time while promoting healthy skin free from the imperfections that age us.
During treatment most patients report a "prickling" sensation. For patients who are sensitive to pain a topical anesthetic can be applied to ease any discomfort. Following treatment it is extremely important to avoid direct sun exposure for approximately three months. You will be strongly advised to apply a sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher (UVA/UVB), every two hours during sun exposure. Your newly emerged skin is very sensitive and must be treated gently during healing. Your doctor may recommend the use of an antimicrobial ointment as well to promote proper healing.
Research has shown that most patients require one to three sessions in four-week intervals for effective treatment. This will vary depending upon the skin condition and severity of the condition being treated.
Patients receiving ProFractional™ Laser treatment generally notice results immediately that progressively improve. Optimal results are usually experienced within two to three months. Remember your skin needs time to heal and replace the damaged tissue with new collagen and elastin, along with new and healthy skin cells.
Prior to ProFractional™ laser treatments, there were two types of laser treatment options available, fully ablative and non-ablative treatments. Fully ablative lasers treatments require the treatment of the entire layer of skin at very high temperatures. Although this method is very effective it also produces more side effects and long periods of healing. Although non-ablative laser treatments are safer, they required many treatments with unreliable results. ProFractional™ Laser treatments are the best of both worlds. This procedure offers the effective results of the fully ablative laser treatment with the safer, gentler benefits of the non-ablative laser treatment method. Finally you can have the results you have been searching for without the pain and time of other laser treatment methods.
Side effects of ProFractional™ Laser treatments are generally mild and fade within a day or two. They include swelling and redness. In some cases peeling may also occur. As with most cosmetic procedures there is also a slight risk of infection or scarring related to ProFractional™ Laser treatment.
